Anglo-American University in Prague Exiles from Main Street: Harrowing Transatlantic Journeys in 1948
AAU Library
Join us for the inaugural session of “Exile, More Broadly: An Irregular Series,” featuring Pavel Uhlir in conversation with Milada Polišenská. The AAU community hour discussion in the library will revolve around Pavel’s personal experiences and reflections in an informal setting, centering on his intensely political family walking across Czech borders, away from their homeland, and into exile after Únor 1948, the Czechoslovak coup d’état.
