Ivan Gutierrez specializes in academic and business writing, editing, translation and philosophy. After graduating from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a double B.A. in philosophy and mathematics, he earned an M.A. in philosophy at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and an M.A. in book publishing from the University of Salamanca in Spain. In 2018, he successfully defended a dissertation on the incorporation of technological tools, earning him a Ph.D. in philosophy from Charles University in Prague. His translations have been published in numerous academic journals and by publishers such as the Czech Academy of Sciences, tranzit.cz and JRP Ringier. He is also a professional musician who performs regularly and has five albums of his own music to his name.
