Three AAU students—Gvantsa Machitidze, Bogdan Trukhachov, and Marko Viliam Palo—have been nominated for the 2026 Jan Opletal Awards, the Czech Republic’s highest student distinction recognizing young people who make exceptional contributions to their communities.
