In memory of Former Colleague, Jiří Kraus

It is with great sadness that the Anglo-American University in Prague announces that our friend, and former colleague, Jiří Kraus, has passed away (on 23.10.2022) at the age of 87.

Prof. Ph.Dr. Jiří Kraus, DrSc. was the original Guarantor of Journalism & Communications for the School of Journalism.

While he was never a lecturer for our faculty, he attended academic events for the School and he guided the curriculum development. He was a highly respected professor at Faculty of Sciences at Charles University, and the Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic. Moreover, he was always a kind and gracious gentleman and a friend to many of us.
