The EU is reopening borders with a few countries including the United States! With an increased number of vaccinated citizens and a lower count of COVID-19 cases, travel to and from certain countries is slowly revitalizing itself.

What does this mean for the Czech Republic? Before you run to book a flight, the reopening of borders does not necessarily mean that there will be no need for COVID-19 related safety measures. As of June 21, 2021, the Ministry of Health released a pdf listing green, amber, and red travel areas as well as an outline of what is required when traveling to, and from, said areas.

For those who are coming to Prague and wish to see the campus before starting at AAU,  we’d be happy to give you a campus tour! However, we ask that you please contact the admissions team ahead of your visit and from there, schedule a date from which you can visit.

To keep up-to-date with the latest in travel restrictions and COVID-19 measures for the Czech Republic, be sure to check the MOI website. For updates on what AAU is doing in compliance with governmental guidelines, please refer to our COVID-19 page.
