AAU Welcomes Students to Spring 2026 on Orientation Day
Anglo-American University held its annual Spring Semester 2026 New Student Orientation, a program organized to familiarize incoming students with the campus, its resources, and life in Prague. AAU welcomed 73 students to campus on the orientation day while we expect approximately 100 students among those also visiting for one semester for the Spring 2026 as Prague and AAU continue to be a top choice for international study abroad.
The most popular program is the BA in Business Administration, followed by the new BA in Psychology, and the BA in International Relations as a close third place for degree seeking students. As the university seeks to expand and promote the new programs, increased interest is expected in the future.
The program opened with a few words by AAU President Jiří Schwarz, who welcomed students, voiced his confidence in the vital contributions they would make to the university, and pledged ongoing support from staff and faculty.
The program, designed to equip students with the essential tools and resources needed for a successful and fulfilling university experience, gave students the chance to meet new friends, explore the campus, and gain some insight into Czech culture.
Students were presented to the Registrar, Student Life and Experience staff, Department Deans, International Office, and Student Mentors. AAU staff, faculty, and mentors are here to continuously provide support, so if anything from the detailed orientation was forgotten students can always get assistance, including psychological counseling offered to AAU students for free.
