Václav Havel: Global Leadership & The Ethics of Hope

Join us in a conversation with psychologist, political advisor, and Havel biographer, Michael Žantovský, as we discuss Václav Havel’s dissident leadership, struggles, and his pivotal role in global affairs.

The discussion will take place in room 2.07, on Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 12 pm to 1:30 pm. It is open to all AAU students, faculty, and staff, and no registration is required.

Žantovský served as Czech ambassador and senator, director of the Havel
library, and press secretary and spokesman for Havel in the 1990s.
