Professors in the Pub: Fascism

Defaultaaubanner

Cafe des Taxis

Each month, come to Café Des Taxis to have a drink and discussion with professors and other experts about important events happening in the world. Share your questions and your views, and join the long tradition of politics in the pub.

Historians examine the concept of fascism as a political ideology and social phenomenon. Yet, fascism is one of the most frequently used––and most misunderstood––political terms today. What do historians actually mean when they use the concept of fascism? Why has it been so difficult to define? What ideological ideas and myths stood at the core of fascist movements? How did fascist propaganda work, and why was it so appealing to so many people in the 20th century? Come discuss these questions and ask your own.

The lead professor will be Jakub Drabik, AAU History Lecturer.
