ACT-EU Youth Lab: Solutions for Democratic Resilience
How can we strengthen European democracy and prepare young people to thrive in democratic societies? Join us for a dynamic and thought-provoking Youth Lab, part of the Horizon 2020 project ACT-EU: Activating European Citizens’ Trust in Times of Crises and Polarization.
Led by Dr. Pelin Ayan, alongside Jan Kovář and Katarzyna Kochlöffel from the Institute of International Relations Prague, this interactive session will focus on generating actionable recommendations for the European Commission on addressing challenges in representative democracy and political trust in Europe.
Key discussion topics include:
- What should politicians do to strengthen European democracy?
- How can schools and educational institutions better prepare young people for life in a democracy?
Participants will engage in group discussions, present their ideas, and contribute directly to shaping policy solutions. This Youth Lab is one of many taking place across 12 European cities, including Brussels, Madrid, and Thessaloniki. Join us at AAU to be part of this vital conversation and make your voice heard!
