Tomáš Hříbek, PhD

Tomáš Hříbek is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences and a Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He earned his MA from Bowling Green State University, Ohio and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. Dr. Hříbek has published three Czech-language monographs on topics ranging from psychological externalism and phenomenal consciousness to euthanasia, and dozens of papers and book chapters in international as well as local academic journals and collections. At AAU, he teaches on Aesthetics and Theory of Art—the subjects on which he has also published his own original research.
