The School of Humanities & Social Sciences and the School of International Relations & Diplomacy invite proposals for The Inaugural Roundtable in Anglo-American Studies at Anglo-American University.

The theme of this year’s event is “The World and America”. We welcome proposals for 20-minute papers dealing with any topic or time period within this broad thematic framework, from the fields of the humanities, social sciences, and International Relations.  The roundtable will take place in the historic surroundings of the Anglo-American University campus between the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Each presentation will be followed by reaction from a discussant; for this reason we require each presenter to send a 2,000-word précis of their paper at least four weeks before the event.

Participants who wish may submit their contribution for publication by Anglo-American University in its new periodical Anglo-American Journal of Social Sciences. AAJSS is a double peer-reviewed publication with a special interest in transition (social, economic or political) contexts and hybrid identities in respect to countries, organizations and populations.
