Ahead of GLOBSEC Forum 2026 in Prague, one of Europe’s leading platforms for discussions on global security, democracy, and international stability, AAU, an official partner of this year’s Forum, will host a special pre-session examining the future of transatlantic relations in an era of geopolitical uncertainty and global transformation.

The 21st edition of GLOBSEC Forum will bring together world leaders, policymakers, innovators, and public intellectuals under the auspices of Czech President Petr Pavel to address the defining global challenges of the 21st century.

As Europe faces growing security pressures, shifting alliances, democratic challenges, and increasing geopolitical competition, this discussion will explore the evolving relationship between the United States and Europe and the future of Western cooperation in a rapidly changing world.

The panel will feature leading diplomats, political scientists, and international affairs experts whose work has shaped debates on democracy, security, and transatlantic relations.

Speakers include:

Michael Žantovský
Czech diplomat, writer, former spokesperson for Václav Havel, and former Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel.

Dalibor Roháč
