Professors in the Pub: NGO’s and The Pandemic

The pandemic has affected everyone. Almost overnight, we all had to adjust to lives
transformed. During this time, it has been all too easy to turn inwards and focus on our
individual challenges. For those working in NGOs, these problems compounded the
already difficult task of helping people around the world. How did and does the
pandemic impact the work of NGOs? What was the effect of so much attention and
resources being refocused to the specific issues related to states combating the virus?
How have NGOs adapted to these conditions? What does the future look like?

Come discuss these questions and ask your own! The lead professor will be Nina Fuchsova, Administrative Officer at Caritas Prague and 2018 Alumnus of AAU’s School of IRD.
