Anglo-American University in Prague Liberal Institute Annual Award Ceremony 2026

On October 15, 2026, the Liberal Institute will present its Annual Award 2026 to Lech Wałęsa, former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, at a ceremonial evening in Prague.
We invite you to join us for this special occasion at the Congress Hall of the Czech National Bank. The evening will bring guests together for the award ceremony and will continue with an informal reception with refreshments.
The Liberal Institute’s Annual Award is presented each year as part of a ceremony recognizing a prominent figure in the tradition of liberal thought. Following the ceremony, the laureate traditionally gives the Liberal Institute Annual Lecture.
The programme will be simultaneously interpreted into Czech and English.
