Nikola Adamovská

Nikola is a PhD candidate at the Department of International Studies and Diplomacy at Prague University of Economics and Business and spent some time at the University of Glasgow as a visiting postgraduate researcher. She currently serves as a coordinator for the Anna Lindh Foundation National Network and research fellow at PULS Institute, as well as an analyst for KONTRA studio.

Nikola’s research encompasses climate diplomacy, city diplomacy, global climate governance, and climate activism, and she works with concepts such as hybrid multilateralism, institutional climate activism, or multilevel governance. Her article The Way Out of a Crisis? the Role of Cities in Europeanization: a Study of Thessaloniki City Diplomacy was awarded the Rector’s Prize for scientific publications. At AAU, she teaches sustainable development.
