Kristijan Smilevski, Ph.D.

Kristijan earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration, Public Communications, and Technology from the State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (UniBIT) in Bulgaria. He also holds an MBA from ESCEM University in Prague (now part of the Excelia Group) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from what is now Anglo American University.

Since joining AAU in 2012, Kristijan has lectured in various graduate programs, including the Master of Administration in Business and Law in International Market (MABLIM) and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). His courses include Project Management, Business Strategy, and Global Competition. Additionally, since 2013 he has been a lecturer at CityU Seattle University and VŠFS MBA and BSBA graduate programs, teaching courses such as Technology and Operations Management, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Managing Organizational Systems and Complexity, Project Management, and Entrepreneurship and the Art of Creative Thinking.

Kristijan is an experienced manager, leader, and consultant with over 20 years of professional cooperate business and management experience. Since 2004, he has earned more than 30 certificates and has worked as a manager, leader and subject matter expert, currently delivering consultancy services for many global corporations. He has delivered numerous lectures and mentored students and professionals at various universities and global organizations, leveraging his extensive expertise to enhance learning and organizational effectiveness.
