B.A. in International Relations

The goal of the program is to provide the students with fundamental knowledge of political science, international relations, politics and economy. International relations will be interpreted within a broader context of European and world history. The program pays attention to the actual problems of world politics including security and conflict resolution and issues of the European Union. Students are expected to gain a comprehensive knowledge of political geography, fundamentals of social science research methods, French at intermediate level, and orientation in scholarly publications in the field of study.

The B.A. program in International Relations prepares the graduates for:

  • a variety of jobs, particularly for employment with an international dimension;
  • or graduates can choose to continue their studies in M.A. programs in International Relations and Diplomacy or Public Policy at the AAU, or to study international relations, public policy, political science and history at universities in the Czech Republic and abroad.
