The School of Humanities & Social Sciences includes two undergraduate and two graduate degree programs. The Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Society, and Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, Society & Culture are both interdisciplinary, rigorously structured programs that incorporate a range of subjects from politics, psychology, sociology, art, literature and media studies. After graduation, students holding either program title tend to work in media, cultural organizations, politics and education.
The Master of Arts in Public Policy program is a direct extension of the undergraduate Politics & Society program, and emphasizes research analysis in social and public policy issues locally and internationally. Our newest program, the Master of Arts in Humanities began in Fall 2008, with new courses in literature, film, art and arts and cultural management.
