This month:

On May 15 at 18:30 Greenland Greenland has been in the news a lot recently due to America’s stated desires to possess it. While much of the coverage focuses on the audacity of the American statements, there are very real geopolitical reasons for Greenland being so desirable.

What is the emerging importance of Greenland and, by extension, the Arctic? What does the dispute concerning Greenland mean for European security? Could Greenland and Denmark successfully defend themselves against American action? How do Russian, and even Chinese interests, come into play?

Come discuss these questions and ask your own.
The lead professor will be Zuzana Bréhéret, Vice Dean of SIRD.
