GRADUATION OF CLASS 2009
Church of Sts. Simon and Juda and its baroque walls have wittnessed after a year another graduation ceremony of Anglo-American University on June 18th 2009.
Graduation ceremony was reflecting the enthusiasm of 68 AAU graduates to step into the new chapture of their life and explore the world awaiting them out there.
After the speeches of AAU President Assoc. Prof. Alan Krautstengl, Ph.D., Chairman of BoT His Serene Highness Jiří Lobkowicz, AAU Alumnus Jiří Brodský - Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Department in the Office of the Czech President and Valedictorian Ondřej Beránek, students and the rest of the audience listened to the beautiful aria presented by Miss Zdena Belas, distinguished opera singer.
When Miss Belas sang Gaudeamus Igitur all academics, students and guests were singing with her.
Students then following the old academic tradition started to throw their caps and cheer.
