DescripciónThis course introduces students to the wide range and breadth of American literature, from colonial times to the present. Emphasis is on close reading of texts and their placement in the context of the development of North American culture and cultures.
Resultados del aprendizajeAl finalizar este curso, los estudiantes serán capaces de:
– Comprehend and have a clear understanding of key figures, movements and periods in American literature from colonial times to the present;
- Comprender y analizar la literatura a través de una lectura atenta de los textos, prestando atención a los matices de significado;
– Understand American literature within the context of its multiplicity of cultures and ethnicities, enriching their own perspectives.
