| Descripción | This course introduces students to key ethical principles, challenges, and dilemmas in psychological research and professional practice. It aims to support the development of ethical awareness, reflective thinking, and a strong sense of professional responsibility, which are essential for every future psychologist. Throughout the course, students explore the foundations of ethical work with human participants, including both psychological practice and scientific research. They become familiar with core principles such as respect, integrity, competence, and responsibility, as outlined in professional ethical codes (e.g., EFPA, APA). Ethical standards are examined as binding commitments in both academic and applied contexts. The course further addresses key issues in research ethics, informed consent procedures, and the specific ethical demands of conducting research with children, school populations, families, and other vulnerable groups. A part of the course is dedicated to publication ethics, with a focus on transparency, authorship, and intellectual property in the dissemination of psychological knowledge and research. Finally, the course explores the ethical challenges associated with psychological assessment and psychodiagnostic procedures. |
