| Popis | This course provides an in-depth introduction to the principles, methods, and applications of psychological assessment and testing. Students will learn about test construction, reliability, validity, item analysis, standardization, norms, and ethical considerations. Emphasis is on hands-on, experiential activities: students will practice administering, scoring, and interpreting selected psychological measures, engage in item-writing exercises, critique existing tests, and discuss case examples. By the end of the course, students will have practical experience and greater confidence in understanding and applying psychological tests in various contexts. |
| Výsledky učení | Po absolvování tohoto kurzu budou studenti schopni: – Understand fundamental psychometric concepts such as reliability, validity, and norms, and apply them to evaluate psychological tests. – Demonstrate basic test administration and scoring procedures for selected assessment tools. – Construct and analyze test items, performing simple item analyses to improve measure quality. – Critically evaluate published tests, considering cultural, ethical, and practical issues. – Reflect on their learning experiences in test design and interpretation, connecting theory to hands-on practice and professional ethics. |
