At the occasion of celebrating one hundred years of U.S.-Czech relations, the U.S. Embassy Prague awarded prof. PhDr. Milada Polišenská, CSc , Deputy to the President and Chief Academic Adviser for AAU, the prestigious Centennial Award.

The U.S. Embassy decided to celebrate the U.S. and C.Z. partnership by awarding the „Centennial Award“ to three Czech citizens who have contributed significantly to the advancement of the bilateral relationship in the areas of:
  • Enhancing security
  • Advancing commercial and economic ties
  • Promoting collaboration in the cultural and educational spheres
Distinguished Senior Lecturer; Interim Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Deputy to the President and Chief Academic Adviser prof. PhDr. Milada Polišenská, CSc. was awarded the Centennial Award for promotion and advancement of the educational and cultural sphere. The other awardees were Karel Schwarzenberg and Václav Muchna making this a huge accomplishment.
