On Wednesday, September 13, at 6:00 PM, Anglo-American University’s School of Business Administration is proud to introduce an open MBA lecture in a different and interactive form. Pavel Novák, an expert on negotiation, will introduce his Negotiation Workshop discussing “what does negotiation success look like? Is it winning, or something else?”
About the topic: In the age of information overload, it is easy to find recommendations for what makes an effective negotiation strategy. The challenge is to turn the know-how into an observable behavior that leads us to a good outcome. Are we really aware of our unconscious tendencies and habits? And what if the other party does not play along?
The workshop will be largely practice-oriented. You'll be able to practice your negotiation skills in an engaging case study with a role play, with feedback from fellow participants on your effectiveness, and a guided self-reflection on your performance.
Aim: Integrative win-win negotiation is a core skill for any management career. This workshop highlights the key negotiation attitudes and behaviors that lead to success in a negotiation.
About the lecturer: Pavel Novák provides impactful hands-on negotiation training and coaching to help you strengthen your professional relationships and achieve great agreements. For over ten years, Pavel has worked at the cutting-edge of behavioural psychology, studying closely with leading authorities on the topic, including Marshall Rosenberg, world-renowned American psychologist, best-selling author and the creator of Nonviolent Communication; and Bruce Patton, co-founder and distinguished fellow at the Harvard Negotiating Project. As a result, he offers up-to-date negotiation ideas and trends that help you to develop your skills more effectively.
