On Tuesday, June 11th Kent State University President, Beverly J. Warren along with KSU Board members, alumni and friends came to visit Anglo-American University in Prague in celebration of a continued partnership between the two universities.

Since the first Memorandum of Understanding in 2013, Kent State University of Ohio, USA and AAU in Prague have joined forces to create study abroad opportunities and academic programs that provide both KSU and AAU students with an unforgettable living and learning experience. The trip to Prague by KSU leadership not only confirmed the partnership between the two universities but also let KSU stakeholders and alumni experience the life of a KSU student in Prague from their own perspective.

To kick off their visit to the the Thurn-Taxis palace, AAU and KSU held a signing ceremony where 3 documents of collaboration were signed to solidify future programs such as The Summer Institute 2020, a 1 month summer school for KSU students with a business track and an international relations track. Other upcoming programs include a Faculty-led Nursing Program and Study Abroad Program in Computer and Digital Science both expected to begin at AAU in 2020.

Both universities' Presidents were present and gave inspirational remarks touching on the importance of internationalization and building relationships like this to help prepare students to solve the worlds most complex and multidimensional problems.
