Hana Waisserova, Ph.D.

Hana Waisserova, Ph.D. currently teaches at UNL, Nebraska (Czech language, culture, literature and film; Women Dissidents in Europe and Asia; Global Women Totalitarian Experience, and Women in Holocaust). Previously, she was teaching Anglophone and Transnational literature and culture at MU, and Gender and Central and Eastern European Studies at AAU, Prague. She lectured at Delhi University, India, and TAMU, Texas. Her current research interests: Central and Eastern European women transnational literature and cultural memory, women totalitarian experience and women dissidents. She published numerous articles and book chapters. Currently she is working on a book on women dissidents.
