Marya Oliynyk, M.A.

Marya (nicknamed Masha) comes from Kyiv, Ukraine, and has been living in Prague for 7 years. She has also lived in the US and Spain. While in Prague, she has worked in customer support, HR, and a British primary school. Masha is interested in education, psychology, and visual arts. Before acquiring her master’s in Child Protection from the University of Kent in the UK, Masha studied BA Humanities at AAU. As an international student herself, Masha can relate to the issues that students are facing and the anxiety they experience. She wants every student to enjoy their time in Prague and use AAU resources to their advantage.

At AAU, Masha is a primary contact point for Journalism and Visual Arts students. She is an adviser to students and is responsible for a multitude of administrative tasks- her door is open, she is always happy to chat and answer questions. In her free time, Masha enjoys cooking, reading, and hanging out in Vinohrady.
