Farwa Baber

Originally from Pakistan. Farwa is a doctoral student at Charles University, researching the physiological outcomes in the field of exercise science. She is a member of scientific research team, the department of Biomedical Foundation in Kinanthropolgy. Currently, her team is researching to find which miRNA and Biomarkers can help to reduces the chance of muscle damage (specifically early-stage muscle damage) after the certain physical stress. In her research, she primarily focuses on the physical exercise and sports, which is also her biggest passions as she was an international athlete of Pakistan and now she’s proudly representing Czech National Women Cricket Team.

Apart from being a Coordinator for the School of International Relations & Diplomacy, her work experience includes 3 years working in an educational system (teaching, managing sports teams), some time in Event Organization and Coaching. If not helping out at school or studying for her PhD, Farwa likes to play sports in her free time.
