As of January 2017, Anglo-American University (AAU) is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and has begun its journey towards getting AACSB accreditation. This association is the longest serving global association dedicated to advancing management education worldwide and its accreditation is seen as a golden standard by business schools around the world.

Now, it accredits 780 of the world’s best business schools across 53 countries and territories. AAU seeks to be the first university in the Czech Republic to get accredited by this reputable agency.

AACSB membership is an important step for AAU, especially for its School of Business Administration and the study programs it offers – BA in Business Administration and MA in Business and Law in International Markets. The membership provides all faculty, staff, and administrators with new resources and networking opportunities to support their continuous improvement goals.

This business-field specific endeavor naturally follows the general accreditation achievements of AAU, which has not only local but also U.S. accreditation. AAU is the only European university to hold American accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, which it was awarded in June 2016. All study programs that AAU guarantees are also accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
