Degree Seeking Students

Bachelor Degree:

In order to apply for a bachelor degree program applicants must submit a completed AAU Application Form and ALL documents listed below:

  • Evidence of high school graduation (notarized copy of a High School Diploma)
  • The minimum qualifying English language test scores (applies to non-native English speakers only):
    TOEFL (min. 525 on paper-based test, 197 on computer based test, 71 on Internet based test)
    FCE (mark A or B)
    CAE (mark A or B or C)
    IELTS (min. 6)
    International Baccalaureaute (IB)
  • Essay
  • CV
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
  • Application fee of 500 CZK

After the application package is complete, applicants will be interviewed (in person or by phone).

Non-native English speakers meeting all requirements except for English proficiency (TOEFL score 500 - 525) may be provisionally admitted to AAU for one semester, after a successful interview. Full acceptance is subject to passing an English language test with an acceptable score by the end of the first semester.

Applicants who do not meet the required language test score can be accepted into our one-semester Intensive Academic English Program.

Master Degree:

In order to apply for a master degree program applicants must submit a completed AAU Application Form and ALL documents listed below:

  • Evidence of completion of a Bachelor Degree
  • Acceptable English language test scores:
    TOEFL (min. 550 on paper-based test, 213 on computer-based test, 80 on Internet-based test)
    CPE (min. A, B or C)
    IELTS (min. 7)
  • Essay
  • CV
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
  • Application fee 500 CZK

Applicants should go through an interview either in person or by phone.

MBA:

In order to apply for the Chapman University MBA program applicants must submit a completed MBA Application Form and ALL documents listed in the AAU Application Form which include:

  • Evidence of completion of Bachelors Degree and transcript of studies
  • Acceptable English language test scores:
    TOEFL (min. 550 on paper-based test, 213 on computer-based test, 80 on Internet-based test)
    CPE (min. A, B or C)
    IELTS (min. 7)
  • GMAT test scores (optional, but highly recommended)
  • Application fee 4.500 CZK

Applicants should go through an interview either in person or by phone.

ITP-TOEFL test

If you have not taken a TOEFL exam yet, you can take the ITP-TOEFL (Institutional Testing Program - ITP TOEFL test scores are for use by the administering institution only) with us on our next scheduled date (contact the Student Services Center for information).

Please note: Foreign students who need a visa to come to the Czech Republic are not likely to obtain a visa solely for taking the ITP TOEFL. You should contact the Student Services Center first for more advice on TOEFL or other English Language proficiency examinations.
