About our library
The AAU library occupies the corner of Letenská 1 and is situated on the first floor. Please see the location here.
The library houses 19.000 books and also subscribes to a variety of periodicals and newspapers. The library specializes predominantly on areas studied at AAU: Business Administration, Humanities and Social Sciences, International Relations and Diplomacy, and Law. The circulating and reference collections offer a well rounded selection of fiction and non-fiction books.
The AAU library is open to all members of the AAU community free of charge.

The Library will be open during
the weekend of 24-25 July, 2010.

copy machine by purchasing a special card for printing and copying at the Student Services Center.
Circulation Rules:
- Circulating books - for 1 month
- Theses & projects - library use only
- Periodicals, newspaper - library use only (or for copying)
- Reference books - library use only (or for copying)
- Course materials - for 1 semester, to be returned at the end of semester
Important:

A student can have a maximum of 8 books checked out at one time.

There is a 3 CZK overdue charge per book per day.

No one with either overdue books or unpaid overdue charges will be able to borrow any library material.

All library materials (all books and readers) must be returned at the end of the Spring semester - latest by June 11th 2010 to the library. If you require your textbook, reader or any other material later than this date, please inform the librarian prior June 11th 2010.

Upon presentation of an AAU student ID card and one photograph, an identification card will be issued free of charge by the associate institution.
