Administration Fee 4.500 CZK

MBA program consists of 1 one-credit course, 2 three-credit courses and 11 four-credit courses.

Students typically enroll for 5 classes per semester (6 classes for BA(Hons)) and complete the bachelor’s studies in three years and master’s studies in 2 years. Taking summer or winter courses accelerates the process. MBA program has a weekend format and can be completed in 16 months.

Students without permanent residence in the Czech Republic are charged an additional fee per semester to help to cover the additional costs involved in the provision of services to students without permanent residence. For the Fall and Spring Semesters, the fee is 4.500 CZK. For the Winter and Summer Semesters, the fee is 2.500 CZK. This does not apply to MBA program. Some special art classes are charged 600 CZK fee per course. Students auditing the courses are charged 50% of the tuition.

 

B. Scholarships

Conditions: 

  1. Merit-based Scholarships are awarded only to AAU program, i.e. do not apply to BA (Honours) in Comparative Law and MBA program.
  2. Merit-based Scholarships are awarded to students who have already completed at least 48 ECTS credits, 24 US credits at AAU.
  3. Merit-based Scholarship GPA is calculated cumulatively since the beginning of the studies of the program at AAU.
  4. Merit-based Scholarship is awarded to students who have taken at least 4 courses the previous semester at AAU. The dean may ease that condition to 3 courses.

B.A. (Honours) in Comparative Law Scholarship

Alumni Scholarship

These scholarships are offered to graduates of any programs of Anglo-American University, Anglo-American College, The New Anglo-American College in Prague and apply to the first year of study only.

Need - based Scholarship

Any AAU student who turns out to experience extraordinary economic hardship may apply for a Need-based Scholarship to cover part of his/her tuition. A special committee set up by a Provost will make the decision on individual basis.

Other Scholarships

Roma Scholarship, Refugee Scholarship

AAU awards a yearly full scholarship to two Roma applicants and to one applicant with refugee status in the Czech Republic who fulfills the admissions requirements. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. The students of the BA Law program should have 49,5+ in the U.K. grading system. These scholarships must be applied for during the admissions process.

Students with physical disabilities Scholarship

AAU is happy to offer a yearly full scholarship to one student with disabilities. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. The students of the BA Law program should have 49,5+ in the U.K. grading system. The scholarship must be applied for during the admissions process. Please be aware that the AAU campus is not wheelchair accessible.

Special Scholarship

Anglo-American University offers other special scholarships which are announced at the ad hoc basis.

C. Early Payment Discounts

May be combined with AAU scholarships.

CONTINUING STUDENTS

Fall
Students who register and pay in full for Fall by June 30th (same calendar year) will get a special 10% discount. Fall 2010 has a different discount of 6 %.


Winter
Students who register and pay in full for Winter by December 15th (previous calendar year) will get a special 6% discount.


Spring
Students who register and pay in full for Spring by December 31st (previous calendar year) will get a special 6% discount.

Summer
Students who register and pay in full for Summer by April 15th (same calendar year) will get a special 6% discount.


NEW STUDENTS

Fall
Students who register and pay in full for Fall by July 30th (same calendar year) will get a special 10% discount.


Spring
Students who register and pay in full for Spring by January 31st (same calendar year) will get a special 6% discount.
