School of Humanities and Social Sciences
The School of Humanities & Social Sciences presently includes two M.A. and two B.A. programs. The B.A. programs Politics and Society, and Humanities, Culture & Society are both interdisciplinary, incorporating a wide range of subjects from the Social Sciences and Humanities including politics, psychology, sociology, art, literature and media studies. Students from both of these programs tend to work in media, cultural organizations, politics and education after graduation.
The M.A. program in Public Policy is an extension of the Politics & Society program, with an emphasis on analysing research on social and public policy issues on both the global and local levels.
Our newest program, the M.A. in Humanities began in Fall 2008, with new courses in literature, film, art and arts and cultural management.
