Degree Options and Exchange Programs

3-year B.A. degree option

The Politics and Society B.A. degree or the Humanities, Culture and Society B.A. degree require 90 credits and may be completed by full-time students in three years. Graduates will receive the official Czech title of “Bakalář” (Bc.).

4-year B.A. degree option

Students who desire a four-year (120 credit) degree may choose to complete a minor program (30 credits) in addition to their major program (90 credits). Students in the Politics and Society or the Humanities, Culture and Society program may complete minors in:

  • Journalism and Communications,
  • European Studies,
  • Legal Studies,
  • International Business Law,
  • Business.

AAU also offers the possibility of earning an American bachelor’s degree through our 3+1 programs, where a fourth year of study is completed at our partner university in the United States.

Student Exchange Program with the University of Hawaii, Hilo

Our students have the opportuntiy to study for one or two semesters at the University of Hawaii in Hilo (UHH), in a special student exchange program. Tuition for courses taken at UHH are similar to our Erasmus agreements. For more information on this opportunity, contact the School of Humanities.
