Graduates of the two-year Master’s in Public Policy program will have learned to identify and evaluate emerging social and political trends, problems and potential conflicts in both local and global contexts. The program gives special attention to societal threats such as corruption, clientelism, organized crime and conflict resolution.

Individuals who hold the program title are qualified specialists ready to deploy their analytical skills and theoretical knowledge in diverse fields of labor markets, media, environmental agendas, health and social care, education, social inequality and minority rights, immigration and urban studies.

The program culminates with the presentation and defense of an original master’s thesis, and an oral examination. At this stage, would-be graduates answer a state examination panel on the learned topics of modern sociological theories, public policy, comparative political systems and economy.

The Master’s in Public Policy program readies its graduates with acute knowledge of the interrelationship of state and private sectors and markets. Graduates possess a working knowledge of public policy and fundamentals of strategic governance and applied sociology.

As such, our graduates seek professional careers in both national and international institutions, particularly those of the European Union, and work on various public policy issues

Additionally, we encourage our graduates to use their master’s title for application to Ph.D programs in the European Union, United States, Canada and other countries.
