The LLB program taught at Anglo-American University is a University of London degree. The University of London is one of the largest and most respected academic institutions in the world. The Univeristy of London International Programme has been in existence for 150 years, offering degree programmes to students all over the world; currently there are over 52,000 students studying one of over a hundred different programmes, with over 18,000 enrolled in the LLB programme.
Six University of London Colleges: Birkbeck; King's College London; London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); School of Oriental and African Studies and University College London (UCL), collectively known as the Law Consortium, are steadily ranked among the best UK law schools. The LLB degree program has been designed and is under the academic direction of the Law Consortium ensuring students enrolled in the University of London International Programme are offered a high caliber education and meet the exacting standards expected of all other University of London students. The LLB, a law qualifying degree in both England and Wales, is an appropriate program for those students seeking a challenging legal education. It is open both to first-time university students and to students who have obtained another degree but wish to pursue a law-qualifying degree. LLB students enrolled at Anglo-American University (AAU) are taught by the AAU School of Law Faculty. Students may attend on either a full-time basis, 3 years, or part-time basis, 4 years. Students who have already earned an undergraduate degree may be able to complete the program in 2 rather than 3 years. Over the course of their studies first-time students will enroll in 12 University of London externally assessed courses as well as supplementary AAU credited courses designed to support the students’ success not only in their examinations and writing assessments but ultimately in their chosen profession. After completing the LLB degree students are eligible to enter a practical studies program for training as a barrister or solicitor, to continue their studies in either an LLM or other masters program, or to enter the workforce as legally educated professionals.
