The objective of the three-year Humanities, Society and Culture (HSC) program is to train interdisciplinary specialists in the fields of Humanities and Sociology. Students benefit from interactions with social theory as well as political and historical discourses on modern society, particularly democratic transformations in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The HSC program offers a diverse field of interpretation and academic work from cultural anthropology, arts and literature, religion, philosophy and culture studies.
Studies culminate with a presentation and defense of a Bachelor’s thesis prepared under supervision of an advisor and an oral examination on major fields of inquiry and subjects in the HSC program.
Graduates of the B.A. program in Humanities, Society & Culture are prepared for jobs in cultural, educational, humanitarian and communications oriented national and international institutions, media, and in government and non-government agencies and organizations.
