The EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency has awarded AAU its Diploma Supplement (DS) Label. The DS Label is designed jointly by the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO to answer the needs of students seeking fair recognition of their qualifications outside their home countries. In this manner, the DS serves in the context of a modern higher education, facilitating mobility of students and workforce.
A diploma supplement is a document accompanying a university diploma. It provides a standardized description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies completed by the diploma holder.
The EU awarded DS Label signifies that AAU's diploma supplements meet the highest standards set by the European Union.
