AAU´s 20th Birthday Party!
Anglo-American University held its 20th anniversary party on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Knights of Malta Hall in the Lázeňská 2 Palace. There were over 200 guests including Ambassadors, staff, faculty, business partners, alumni and friends of the university. There were special messages by President, Alan Krautstengl; the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Peter Formánek; and, the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jiří Lobkowicz. In addition, there was a special appearance by school founder, Jansen Raichl, who blew out the candles on the AAU birthday cake.
The University celebrated with champagne, drinks, great food and fun music. Moreover, AAU hosted a raffle and gave away many great prizes. The money raised will be used to support talented students in their studies, who may not be able to study otherwise.
