Anglo-American University’s School of Business Administration would like to cordially invite you to the next MBA Open Lecture to be held on Wednesday, November 16th at 18:00. The topic will be “Will globalization survive in today’s world?” and the lecture will be hosted by no one other than our Chapman MBA lecturer of Operations and Technology Management, Mr. Milan Slapak, PhD.

Mr. Milan Slapak has 20 years of extensive business experience in strategic management. He currently works as the ATP Country Director at GE, building a new GE Turboprop business in the Czech Republic: Turboprop Headquarters, Engineering Center, and a Production Site for a brand new ATP engine. He works as a liaison to the government and to GE’s business partners supporting and executing the ATP program locally. Mr. Slapak also holds the post of Vice-President at the Aviation Confederation of the Czech Aviation Industry.

During his lecture and ensuing discussion, Mr. Slapak will answer the following questions:

What are the key reasons driving the globalization effort?

Are benefits greater than the potential risk and, if so, how will global players have to adjust to address current disruptions related to security and social unrest?

Is globalization sustainable?

The MBA Open Lecture will take place at Anglo-American University, Letenská 5, in room no. 2.07. Light refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing you.
