The Anglo-American University’s School of Business Administration invites AAU students, teachers, alumni and supporters for the fifth MBA Open lecture this year.  On July 28th at 18:00, the Chapman University MBA lecturer on Strategic Management, Mr.  Mario F.  Leone will introduce his topic: Transforming How Business is done in Digital Times. 

Mr.  Leone currently holds Board level positions at several California based digital and science technology companies while also working with private equities on the business assessment of new investment opportunities.  He earned his lengthy business experience through progressively more demanding senior and executive roles at some of the world’s largest multi-national firms:  Union Carbide, Polimeri Europa, Dow Chemical, FIAT, Federal Mogul and Ingram Micro. 
Mr.  Leone instills a passion for delivering results and articulates the importance of integrating information technology in all facets of business from customer facing, to supply chain, manufacturing and warehouse management.  He will describe how best of breed traditional and new age digital platforms, solutions and services can be integrated to provided high value, low risk business information solutions that maximize customer relations, improve product quality and supply chain execution and address compliance issues.   The dialogue and Q&A will focus on;

  • Leveraging digital channels to open new markets and business opportunities
  • Unlocking new profit potential through automation and business process re-design
  • Stimulating business innovation through new technology partnerships

Through real world transformational examples “lived” he will engage students in critical new thinking and encourage strategic insight to be better than the giants at addressing problems and more agile than local competitors in delivering value. 
The Digital world requires new age managers to have a fast paced understanding of technology as a lever to focused business application to achieve sustainable profitable growth.
