AAU sponsors Canadian Chamber of Commerce Breakfast with Canadian Ambassador

During his nearly three years of service as Canada's Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Michael Calcott has been part of important developments in bilateral relations between the two countries. He has also aided in significant progress in the Canada-EU relationship which was demonstrated at the Prague Summit Meeting on May 6 – the date of the official launch of negotiations about an agreement to provide for a closer economic partnership between Canada and Europe.

The Business Breakfast was held on June 25th 2009 at Mlýnec Restaurant, shortly before Ambassador Calcott completed his diplomatic mission in the Czech Republic. It was a great opportunity to discuss the wide range of current Canada-Czech and Canada-EU issues with him, and to thank the Ambassador for his personal contribution to the achievements he has helped to accomplish and for the support and friendship that he has offered to the Chamber and its members.
