Tutor and Co-Examiner, MA Course "The Interpretation of Ancient Near Eastern Religion," 1995.
- I helped design, teach and examine a Master of Arts unit on the modern interpretation of ancient Near Eastern Religion from the Enlightenment to the 20th century. The course had a particular emphasis on the historical, political and ideological context of comparative religion.
Academic Adviser, The Women's College, University of Sydney, 1999–2000.
- This involved dispensing detailed guidance to students studying medieval and early modern history, as well as the late modern period. It was also a semi-pastoral role, as it often involved counselling students suffering considerable stress and anxiety.
